vForum Australia
October 9, 2007 – 11:19 am
I just got back from vForum in Australia — it’s always great fun getting home for business.
I did a talk on how performance management roles and techniques change in a virtualized world. I also spent some time talking about the performance of large enterprise applications within virtualization, including Exchange (I’ll post some more about that soon).
The conference was held in Melbourne and Sydney.
Given that Australia has not much more than half the population of California, I was surprised to see such a big turn-out: there were almost 2000 attendees between the two cities — a great sign of the interest level in the technology.
